Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to our quotes, bookings and the work we carry out.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1.About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any quote, booking or work carried out by Epoxy Flooring Toowoomba (ABN 52 883 266 924). By requesting a quote or engaging us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.
If we have given you a separate written quote or contract, and anything in it conflicts with these terms, the quote or contract applies.
2.Quotes and pricing
Quotes are free and carry no obligation. Unless stated otherwise, a written quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued.
Quotes given over the phone or by email before we have inspected the site are estimates only. Final pricing is confirmed after a site inspection, once we have assessed the substrate, access and the scope of preparation required.
Unless expressly stated, quoted prices include materials and labour for the scope described, and exclude the cost of repairing pre-existing structural defects, removing unexpected coatings or contaminants, and any works not listed.
3.Variations and site conditions
Concrete frequently hides problems that are not visible until grinding begins — previous coatings, glue residue, oil penetration, cracking, delamination or moisture. Where additional work is required, we will tell you before proceeding and confirm the additional cost with you.
Where a variation is agreed, it becomes part of the contract and is invoiced in addition to the original quote.
4.Booking, deposits and payment
A booking is confirmed once you accept the quote in writing and, where requested, pay a deposit. Deposits secure your date and cover initial materials, and are applied to the final invoice.
Unless agreed otherwise, the balance is payable on completion. We accept the payment methods shown on your invoice. Amounts not paid by the due date may attract interest and reasonable recovery costs.
5.Cancellation and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as you can. Where you cancel at short notice, we may retain part or all of a deposit to cover materials already ordered or tinted for your job and time that cannot be reallocated.
We may need to reschedule due to weather, substrate moisture readings or circumstances beyond our control. We will contact you as soon as possible and agree a new date. Epoxy and sealer products are sensitive to temperature and humidity, and we will not apply them in conditions that would compromise the finish.
6.Your responsibilities
So we can work safely and efficiently, you agree to:
- Clear the area completely of vehicles, furniture, shelving and stored items before we arrive, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing
- Provide safe and unobstructed access to the work area for the duration of the job
- Provide access to power and water where required
- Keep children and pets away from the work area while we are on site and during curing
- Tell us about known issues with the slab, drainage, plumbing or previous coatings
7.Substrate condition and moisture
Coating systems bond to the slab beneath them, and their performance depends on the condition of that slab. Where a slab has no working moisture barrier, has been previously sealed, or suffers from rising damp or hydrostatic pressure, coatings can blister or delaminate over time.
We test and prepare every floor properly and will advise you if we identify a risk. Where you ask us to proceed after we have raised a concern in writing, we cannot warrant the coating against failure caused by that underlying condition.
8.Colour, finish and appearance
Colour samples shown on this website, in brochures and on screen are a guide only. Screen calibration, lighting and batch variation mean the finished floor may differ from what you see online. We encourage you to view physical samples before making a final choice.
Flake and metallic-style finishes are applied by hand and are decorative by nature. Some variation in pattern, density and tone across a floor is inherent to the product and is not a defect. Minor variation between separate pours or areas coated on different days should also be expected.
9.Curing and aftercare
We will tell you when your floor can take foot traffic and when it can take vehicles. These times vary by product and by weather, and they are minimums rather than targets.
Damage caused by using the floor before it has cured is not covered by our warranty. We will provide care instructions on completion, and following them is a condition of the warranty.
10.Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for the period stated on your quote or invoice. Manufacturer warranties on products are passed through to you on the terms offered by the manufacturer.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by impact, abrasion, chemical spills, tyre marking from hot tyres, cuts or gouges, movement or cracking in the underlying slab, moisture from beneath the slab, use before curing, failure to follow care instructions, or work altered or repaired by others.
If something goes wrong, contact us as soon as you notice it so we can inspect it.
11.Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights.
For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
12.Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the section above, our liability for any claim arising out of the work is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
We are not liable for loss or damage arising from pre-existing defects in the building or slab, items left in the work area, or delays caused by weather or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13.Photographs of completed work
We often photograph completed work for our portfolio, website and social media. Photographs show the floor and the space, not people, and we do not publish your name or address. If you would prefer we did not photograph your job, just let us know before we start and we will note it on your file.
14.This website
We take care to keep the information on this website accurate, but it is provided as a general guide only and may change without notice. Nothing on this site is a binding offer, and it is not a substitute for a written quote or professional advice about your specific floor.
All content on this site, including text, photographs, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
15.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
